Bodhi

My story

Hi there, my name is Bodhi and I'm a 3 year old tabby with long hair and emerald green eyes. I'm a bit of a shy guy, especially when I'm first getting situated, so my acclimation period may be weeks or months, but once I do gain that comfortability and confidence you will see that I'm a sweetheart who enjoys snuggling, playing with humans and other animals (after very slow, proper introductions), and playing with toys like crinkle balls, feathers, cat nip, and lasers. Because of my hesitancy and unfamiliarity, I can startle easy and may try to hide, so rambunctious kiddos or other pets may be too much for me and I would do better with adult folks who have a calm, quiet home for me to relax in while I work myself up and out of my shell- possibly with some calm, respectful furry friends already at home waiting for a new friend like me! When I'm first adjusting, it can be helpful to give me a spare area of the home I can call my own (pop up crate, extra room) and making sure all of my food, water, and litter boxes are in easy to access areas with the proper amount per how many pets are in the home. As much as I love to snuggle and get pets once we've gotten to know each other (I even like to sleep with my humans!), I prefer all 4 paws to be on the floor at all times, so please don't pick me up.
